Made to order
Furniture is made to order. For purchases from our shop please allow six weeks from date of order.
Returns
Made to order furniture is non-returnable. The only exception being, if the item is faulty or misdescribed. If you believe an item is faulty or mis-described please email us at lorna@angusross.co.uk or call 01887 829857 and we will help you to arrange free return.
Right to Cancel
If you change your mind about purchases made through our shop you may cancel your order within 14 days of placing the order. We will refund you in full.
Timber
Our furniture is made from solid native timber. These trees have not been commercially grown and the timber has knots, pips, and stains revealing their previous long life growing in Scotland. This means that the marking and colour of each piece of timber is different. We select timber carefully to match up planks to create pleasing grain patterns. This natural variation is part of our furniture. Bespoke furniture cannot be returned because you don’t like the colour or grain pattern.
Samples
We are happy to send samples of Scottish oak and Scottish ash. Please note there can be considerable variation of colour, grain pattern and markings between different boards so the sample will differ from the final piece of furniture.
Delivery
Free UK standard delivery for products in the shop.
Most furniture sold in our on-line shop are delivered by Parcelforce between 7 am and 7 pm. Larger items and most commissioned furniture is delivered by us or a specialist art services courier. We will contact you a week before dispatch to confirm details.
Packaging
Our boxes are made of fully recyclable, re-usable and bio-degradable corrugated cardboard and sealed with paper tape. We use cardboard inserts to minimise protective packaging within the box. Please recycle or re-use the cardboard (perhaps in your compost heap or as weed suppressant).
Larger commissioned furniture are shipped with a specialist art courier and require some packaging to keep them dry and prevent timber bruising. At the moment we sometimes use bubble-wrap and blankets and hope you will be able to re-use these. We are investigating alternatives to bubble-wrap.
Collection
If you prefer you may collect directly from our workshop. Please visit by appointment.
