This delightfully balanced, comfortable and compact rocking chair is a signature design by Angus Ross. It is has been exhibited and published internationally and was nominated for the Wesley Barrell Craft Award. (Financial Times, Makers of the Exceptional at Somerset House, Design Shanghai and Philadelphia Museum of Art) Eleven components form a continuous flowing line creating a frame to support a hand-shaped seat and comfortable steam-bent back. The Frame Rocker brings elegance and comfort to a room and invites you to linger in its embrace whether with a good book, a glass of wine. They are perfect for comforting and feeding a baby, or to watch TV, for knitting or as a desk chair. We make small numbered editions of Frame Rockers when we have interesting hardwood. “the real treat was getting home and putting the rocker in place. As predicted, we are alternating between sitting in it and sitting elsewhere so we can look at it!" R McE
"The frame rocker arrived safely; it looks beautiful, as you described it, and is as comfortable as I remembered from the one in the workshop. Please thank Angus and his colleagues for all their care and craftsmanship. I am really delighted to have such a fine piece of furniture.” GW
